Shorelines, our first exhibition of 2026, brings together six contemporary artists exploring the Scottish coast through personal and distinctive perspectives. Shaped by light, weather and time, the shoreline is a landscape of constant change, rich in atmosphere, texture and lived experience.
Through wide horizons, shifting seas, harbours and weather-worn structures, each artist offers a unique visual language; some pieces drawn from direct observation, others from memory and imagination. Together, the paintings celebrate the enduring creative pull of Scotland’s coastline and the strength and diversity of contemporary Scottish painting. We hope to welcome you to the gallery.
