Dominic Cullen and Morag Smith
We’re delighted to welcome for our first focus show of the year, two artists we see as very much on an upward trajectory with their work and still offering excellent value.
As the first gallery to show Dominic Cullen’s work in 2019, we’ve enjoyed watching his career develop and grow since and he’s painted a beautiful selection covering Glasgow, the Scottish Coast and France. Dominic’s distinctive and subtle style of blending watercolour, gouache, inks and pastels always creates a sense of peace and tranquillity across his work.
Morag Smith, while newer to the Annan, is a long-established artist with her strong, striking, paintings proving popular and deftly capturing those fleeting moments and glimpses of beauty that we often see on journeys but vanish moments later.
A great and complementary collection of work from both and we hope you enjoy the paintings as much as we do.
