One of the most exciting and unique Scottish landscape painters working today, we welcome Beth Robertson Fiddes back to the Annan Gallery for ‘Water, Water...’ a Solo Exhibition of outstanding landscape paintings.
Bridging between realism and abstract painting, Beth’s portrayal of the Scottish Landscape uses a mixture of styles to achieve her remarkable effects - oil paint, inks, adding paper for texture, washing away paint, sanding back layers of work and painting the transparency of still water or movement of the waves with a skill few artists possess.
It is hard to convey the formidable scale and depth of Beth’s paintings so a must see exhibition.
