Annan Art

Exhibition Programme 2010

9 - 31 Oct

Pam Carter records a road trip through the Western Isles with her series of landscape paintings in this major solo show. Pam's work is immediately recognisable from her choice of expressive colours, elevated viewpoint and ambitious large-scale approach. Her spot-on locations emphasise beauty in remote Scottish island destinations. Road through the Isles continues at Annan Gallery to the end of October

Basia Roszak - Never Say NeverBasia Roszak - Turquoise Hairband
Basia Roszak delivers dreamlike portraits of people passed by on rainy Scottish streets, people in the Underground or remembered from cafes. Basia's work is evocative, reflecting a tender sympathy for her subjects, girls mostly, that is reminiscent of Joan Eardley.
